Will reply the results after the attempt is complete (uninstall SP1, install Sonic Heroes followed by applying the patch again using the offline SP1 installer previously downloaded from Microsoft Download Center since the SP1 installer from Microsoft Update That's exactly what I am trying to avoid doing but since there's no other viable option.
